Difficult check-in

Homewood Suites by Hilton St Louis Riverport - Airport West

Check-in was very difficult. The agent could not find my reservation even though I provided a confirmation number, name, email, etc. He told me he would have to contact customer service and promptly started helping two other customers while he just left me standing there. I stayed at the counter and called them myself, on speaker; they provided a different number format they said might be more helpful for him. He didn't bother to switch back to me until both of the other customers were attended to. So in all it took close to an hour for my check-in and I had an appointment to get to. He did apologize but that did not help my scheduled or my nerves at that point.

When I got to my room the door stuck so bad I could not open it. My husband had to hip check the door to get us in EVERY time we went into the room. I am not weak but I literally could not open the door. Seems pretty unsafe to me. Other than that it was fin. Room appeared fairly clean. Closet door was off the track and could be a hazard if it falls as it is a mirrored door.
