I love this dog park. My dog, Satchmo is a 5lb ball of fire. This has never been a problem. The other dogs either play with him or ignore him. He is able to run, sniff, roll in the grass and occasionally rush around with a furry friend or two. He is greeted with acceptance by the other dogs in the bunch and is definitely a member of the pack. New dogs are greeted cordially and bully boys don't make it in this group long.
People even bring very shy dogs to help them become more social. I don't say that there can't be arguments from time to time but those overseeing the park make sure that anyone coming to the dog park has their shots, license and are not members of "bully breeds." If there is a dog who harasses the others, that dog is usually reformed or removed.
Try it! Great group of concerned, involved owners which is 90% of the reason this park is a winner!
